Today is the fifth anniversary of CIRCUS SCREAMS. No joke. Five years ago, I stitched together circus screamers and art songs and released CIRCUS SCREAMS, a theatrical record of unnerving and shrill circus music that worked like an elephant stampede on the grinning world of Barnum, Bailey and Bozo. Listening back now to its relentless cacophony and haunting lyrics, it’s no wonder every circus in town ran screaming when I came out to kill. Start celebrating.
